FEEDBACK TOOLS
Why Use Feedback Tools?
360 degree feedback creates a confidential and consistent way to provide participants with important information which doesn’t only benefit their own development and performance, but also that of their team, their relationships and the wider organisation.
We believe that self-awareness is essential if you want to understand how to plot the journey from where you are now to where you want to be, and use 360 degree feedback on all of our leadership programmes as a platform to build on. In our experience, there is often a gap between the intent of our behaviours and actions and the way these can be perceived by others. Receiving feedback from a range of stakeholders is a great way to confirm where you are getting it right and highlight the areas you might want to improve.
Objectives
When 360 feedback is managed well there are a number of clear benefits, including:
-
Performance improvement.
-
Improved prioritisation and focus.
-
Increased effectiveness.
-
Increased self-awareness.
-
Personal development.
-
Improves relationships.
All of these objectives can be realised as part of a supportive development process and good leadership, where participants are given the support to learn from the feedback and then held accountable to their commitments to change.
Format and Delivery
We have seen a wide range of 360 tools available but recognised the need to create something that individuals or organisations can adopt easily and that can be managed by an external company to reduce the administrative overhead. We also wanted to encourage as many responses as possible, so designed the tools to be simple to understand, quick to complete, and available online. Feedback is provided anonymously, with only the "self" and "manager" scores shown individually.
The questions are grouped into the following focus areas:
Leadership 360
-
Set strategy and vision
-
Act as a role model
-
Build the team
-
Coach the team
-
Deliver performance
-
Manage conflict

Leading
The focus areas above are scored from 0 to 6, and the feedback is collated to highlight areas of strength and areas for development. Both tools also include more open questions to give the respondents the opportunity to provide more detailed feedback, which is often a rich source of further development information.
Cost
Each report is available for £120 per person (+VAT where applicable). This includes the central administration and report generation.
360 degree feedback is both a catalyst and an effective starting point for development, helping participants to build their self-awareness by identifying their strengths and opportunities for improvement.
